Can anyone tell me the best outdoor car cover for South East Florida to work with the intense sun and rain for 6 months and dry and sunny for the other?
I see all different types and hoping g someone has some good experience as I have to keep the car outside. Car is in excellent shape all around so.....
Thanks.
My c5 has been in south florida for 14 years outside. Had waterproof, water resistant, silvertech, fabric....you name it. Have had it all. Dont go with waterproof, that will cause mold buildup in your car, sivertech is OK, but for the price, I just go with a regular Walmart car cover el cheapo...reason? No brand I have had lasted longer than 2-3 years outside in south florida rain/wind. $300 car cover...destroyed with rips and fading within 2 years. $50 car cover....destroyed with rips and fading within 2 years. Just telling you my experiences with car covers in Miami. Peeps are going to chime in with their favorite and swear up and down theirs is better, and they may be right, but they probably dont live where we do and have to deal with the extreme elements.
I have this one https://www.ikuby.com/ I can't tell you personal results because i havent set it up (driveway not wide enough). It has slots you can use to anchor. Quick delivery for its size. Im way up north fl and currently use covercraft car cover.

Have you used a noah material cover? This peep would like to know.
I have not, did a bunch of research on them when I was shopping, heard tons of good and bad things about them. Was too pricey for me, and after getting burned on a $300 Seal Skin cover that only lasted a 1.5 years, I was done with expensive car covers. I figured if I'm going to be replacing them after 2 years regardless, then I wasn't dropping big cash on "quality" covers. Peace!

I was interested to see if it had come apart. I don't use mine for extended use outdoors. I have used it when i have gone to the beach. We had a lot of rain at night. The next morning the cover was always mostly dry, the car was totally dry. I use mine every winter for the last 24 years. Im sure you will deal with different conditions.
