Vette-lights LED front corner assembly hyperflash problem
I just installed the vette-lights LED front corner assemblies. They come with resistors which I installed but I am still getting hyperflash. Seems to be more pronounced on the drivers side. My next step is to go back in and double check the connection of the resistor. Anybody else have this problem?
Use this. Easy to install and no hyperflash. I did this mod from another seller and installed the harness regardless. Plenty of YT videos on how to install.
Ok. I’ll take the hyperflash route. Do you know if I need to disconnect the resistors that I currently have plugged in. Seems like the passenger side probably is working although seems a bit fast to me as well

I left my resistors plugged in. They were starting to get warm. I figured better to be warm stuff outside the cabin. I have no idea if the hyperflash gets warm as I left the resistors in place.
A couple years ago I bought the White DLR switchback LED setup from Sharp Lighting Innovations for my clear lenses. Got their hyper flash with it and never had any problems - no resistors.

The hyperflash harness uses an LED friendly flasher. These LED flashers do not use heat to cycle. You are better off removing the resistors if you installed the hyperflash harness.
The resistors get warm because they convert current into heat simulating a bulb. There is no need for that with an LED friendly flasher.
