we had -5°F and 50 mph winds on friday... I taped my front door to keep the draft out, frost grew over the tape anyway (but at least the draft was mostly stopped)
We know it was meant as a joke but, it's time for you to step up to the plate and put a real CIA on your car
Yep, the entire intake really needs a total revamp! I have a built LS7 in the C5, but its choking on the stock C5 airbridge, the stock 85mm LS6 MAF, and the stock LS7 intake. Time for a Vararam, LS7 maf, either a Vararam or Vortex bridge, and maybe an MSD intake. I'm amazed it is at 500+whp thru an A4 and Yank 3,200 converter, on a Mustang dyno!! Conservatively, I'd guess I'm leaving 20-25whp on the table. THIS is the year!!!
Grinder, check out Halltech, they have a new intake out for C5 that has an LS3 MAF and wiring harness adapter to replace the C5 MAF. I wish I would have waited to do the VR, I may have chosen the new halltech.

This is not one of those fancy intakes. Duel KN. This was the first thing I did to my car. Everything I read about the C5 before coming out was the air box was very restricted. So I replaced it with this intake. In 1998 this was all that was available. Any way. I was able a few years back to run my car in 14 degree weather. Felt like it had at least 50 more HP
