Anyone know of a '03 Canadian spec (export) Z06 available for sale? Will consider new 2002 model. Prefer EB/Mod Red but consider all exterior colors too.
If you are looking at brand new, it will be almost impossible to get a Canadian car. If GM smells the slightest hint this car is heading to the US. The buyer will be band from buying a GM in the future. Also, if the car did make it to the US, and you needed warranty work on it. Forget about it, a red flag would go up on the car and you would be out of luck. You need to buy a car that has been owned at least 6 months and has a certain number of KMS on it. The days of brokers sending brand new Corvettes down over the border look like they are gone forever.
Check it out. As always another non-stop Corvette dedicated event that will rival any other event presented in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary. And also, your National Corvette Caravan registration covers the event presented by the NCM in Bowling Green. This is one way the NCM would like to show its appreciation to the entire Corvette community for its support.
Yes I can't understand the interest in Canadian. The specs are the same, I believe. A few years ago I moved to Europe and took a car. It was required that I had owned the car for more than 6 months before entry into Europe. After being there the car had to be modified so that it met the specific country requirements. So be prepared for that as well.
just curious, but why the interest in a CDN spec ZO6?
It will be registered in Switzerland and from my understanding, the CDN equipped Z06 qualify for Swiss registration (remember the Swiss have some of the toughest vehicle regs in the mainland too).
