Default Cold temps and the Z

It's in the mid 20s here in SW Ohio today - sunny and clear. The car absolutely loves it!

Had it out this afternoon and the rear tires start breaking loose with a normal launch from a standstill; no WOT, just a nice push on the pedal and the rear tires start giving it up. And the Blackwing's not even on yet! This is too

Just be mindful that traction is very minimal due to the cold roadways. Otherwise, yes....they're great with the dense, cold air. More ponies!

:iagree: Very minimal traction with the F1 tires when it's cold out.

Yep, it all sounds very familiar.

Motor's breathing cold air and making strong torque, and with the cold tires makes for some tail-out "momments".

Be careful out there!

Sounds very familiar, the car just loves the cold temp, If only I could say the same about the tires, I all over the place. :banghead: :iagree:

Try driving the Z with a blower! Temp was around 10% today, clean roads it was a blast, impossible to get into boost without obliterating the tires...

I first started noticing the dropoff in traction in October as the temperatures started dropping. I wonder what the braking distance rises to as temperatures start gping well below freezing.
