nope..
if you're just going to reskin your seats, just get a local uphboslterer to do it. Easier and sometimes chaeper, and you can pick out you own leather/stirching
(these are c7 seats, but gives you an idea)

Yes, mine were from Interior Innovations. I think they were based out of Michigan but the covers came from Pakistan. I went for the cheapest option and got new seat foam. I went all black with a red Corvette script however I dont think theyre allowed to offer the script anymore.

So C7 seats will fit, using the C7 brackets or what? I did a search, but searches here don't really show you what ur looking for.

There's a ton of posts on it. I have a post on it. c6, c7, and c8 seats all fit. They bolt right in.
You'll have to modifty the wiring harness, but that takes about 20 minutes and there are also many posts on that as well. You'll also have to switch the seatbelts out with c6 seatbelts -- I have a post on that , and that also takes only about 15-20 minutes. Vetteworks sells an c7->c5 witing harness, *BUT* -- last time I worked with him, it took 6 months to get an adapter, AND, if you have telescoping steering, you'll lose that functionality if you use his adapter. If you don't mind waiting and don't have telescoping steering, his work quality is ok. but making your own harness is pretty trivial (three wires, and you and up using the existing seat module).

My *personal* prefernece -- c6 seats at this point are pretty old, and only a minor improvement. C7 and c8 seats are a *dramatic* improvement over c5/c6. I've sat in c7 and c8, and personally, I really don't see the difference. I personally don't like the look of a c8 seat in a c5, I think the c7 compliments the interior more than the c8, but it really comes down to personal prefernece and price. both c7 and c8 seats can be pricy, c8 oibviously more.

I think Interior Innovations and Ridies are the same company. I bought Ridies seats for my 50th Anniversary vert. Very happy with them. I had to get the embroidery done at a independent shop.

What color did you order from Ridies? I also have a 50th Anniversary and want to wrap my C7 seats in the light shale color.

I ordered sandstone leather. It was very close in color to the original seats, but the leather is thicker and higher quality. Once your C7 seats arrive you could consider taking them to a shop and getting the 50th anniversary logo stitched on them before installing. Since I was just replacing the C5 leather it was a no-brainer for me.
Good luck!
