I checked NCM insurance but found that their restrictions on driving the car were too severe. Went with Hagerty where the restrictions were very few. Almost none. GOOD LUCK!

I'm on my 3rd year with NCM.
I haven't found it restrictive at all.
Just don't use the car as a daily driver or an errand getter. Which I found myself really never doing anyways before the switch.
Keep the car secured when not in use (always garaged anyways).
Pay the couple extra bucks a month for the drive it to work 2 days a week plan and that is more than enough for me.
Driving/use restrictions aren't the only thing to consider when looking for an insurance policy. One should read reviews. NCM agency uses American Modern Insurance Co.
for coverage.
Thanks for asking about us, and thanks for those that have shared our contact info!
As far as the comment regarding the reviews. The National Corvette Museum (our parent) would never select a company that offers subpar coverage. We write coverage for both American Modern and Hagerty.
Our experience with claims since we started the program have been top notch. In 2022 we paid out over $4M in claims and the reviews have been top notch.
There are several items to know about reviews.
- We typically only see reviews from those with negative experiences.
- The reviews that you will most like see are due to mobile home and vacant dwellings.
You will be hard pressed to find a negative review from our customers regarding claims.
