Once this winter checks out for the year, I want to replace my 2 drive belts, A/C and the Alt Ps and water pump, Rockauto has the 2 belts, is there anything else you folks recommend ?

Depending on your millage, I would consider replacing the tension and idler pulleys. Mine were replace at 45K because I heard squeaks.

My 03 is original and I mean Nothing has ever been change other than license plates. It went back the original dealership for recalls but that is it. The car only has 10.341 Miles on it, the CARFAX is only half a page long, so since nothing was done you think I should replace the tensioners ? There's no noise, but they are like the belts 20 years old ?

In that case, you may want to replace the tires, too.....

Belts, Hoses, Fluids... Anything rubber will start to rot/decay.
I have it on my spring list as well. I'm changing all belts and hoses (tensioner's on mine as it has 54k on it now). I got almost everything from Rock Auto. They even have the GM pressurized radiator overflow tank (plastic fittings rot), so Radiator Tank is going in as well. My 98' ride is 25 years old, this year. I did all the fluids last year when I bought my M6 Coupe. Summit has GM fluids, btw. I even ordered the correct GM spring clamps from various sources. I got this list in October from another forum member. Thanks to vette4fl for compiling the list. Very helpful...

Here is my 5% discount code from Rock Auto (Good till Feb 3rd) feel free to pass around:

Ok, Thank you, Part numbers much appreciated ! And Leadfoot4, the tires were hard as a rock, so they were the first order to do. bought Generals Max-4 RS and it took about 60% to the rough ride and noise away from the car. Big improvement !

Thank you,

The suggestions in posts 2 and 3 are good places to start.

Just as an added thought - check your hoses too.

LOW miles. Excellent. I see you're a long time forum member, so I'm sure you know what's up with cars.

Tires are a FIRM number one safety priority. Belts sure. Get some gummi pfluge or similar and grease up all your trunk, engine roof / windshield weather stripping and try to prevent it ripping in corners this way. Leather treat the seats on a HOT day and leave them to bake. Shoe polish the leather part of the steering wheel. Flush and replace ALL fluids: PS, Clutch, Brake, Coolant, Trans, Diff. Leave the AC alone unless it is not blowing cold. No need for tensioners as mentioned unless they're noisy. Super easy ten minute replacements if they are anyway. New battery. Replace air filter.

Drive it. Give it love and heat cycles. These cars need and respect that. Then if it presents any questions chase down what ever it needs. And stick to the GM original or AC Delco gold products for key replacements wherever you can.

PS - we need pictures of the car, man. It sounds SWEET!
