I've recently ran across a set of the Mallett C5 396 split 5 spoke wheels. I have yet to see them in person but the picture shows the Mallett decals on the wheels and center caps. The front tire size is a 245/45/17 and the rears are 275/40/18 like the factory standard Corvette sizing. Does anyone know all rim sizing that was available from Mallett? I'm only familiar with the 18x9.5 and 18x11.

Reason: Format of text and pics was off and spelling
No knowledge of sizes, but if you have a chance at a set, I don't think I would hesitate. Poor photos of very attractive wheels.
I have a better photo of all four of them. I just zoomed in and took those photos and posted them for the size reference on the tires. I just haven't ever seen information verifying that they ran 17" versions on the front of the cars.

While not directly related to the discussion of these wheels, it makes me wonder whatever happened to some of those Corvette suppliers that were well known from the "heydays" of the C-5................such as Mallet Motorsports, Wheel 2 Wheel, LA Performance (LAPD), etc, etc.................
Mallett is still in business now in North Carolina. He has a website and a nice Facebook page. They really did some cool C5 Corvettes back in the day. I ended up picking up those Mallett wheels. They're in decent shape but I'm going to have them refinished and put them on my 98 corvette.

I'm glad to hear the Mallet operation is operational!
Do you have that FB link ?
Any idea what they weigh - are you trying to save weight
Here's the links I found. I just brought them home today. The tires currently on them are shot so I will strip them off and maybe weigh the wheels. I'm mainly doing for a cosmetic upgrade. My C5 is my street car and I have a dedicated C4 track car.
The project is dormant right now. I reached out to Mallett to find out information on colors, sizes, etc. and was hoping to hear back. The car is semi tucked away for the winter. When the weather gets better I can drive it over to my shop. I wanted to try to install the rims in their current condition since the tires hold air but are shot. That will at least allow me to see how they fit, look, and adjust my stance accordingly before I peel the tires off and have the wheels refinished. I also want to find out if Mallett still offers their wheel decals and center caps for these wheels. Two of my center caps are pitted pretty bad. I'm hoping to have all of this hashed out soon so I can have these wheels ready for the goof around season. I do like the original almost champagne finish and it seems to look alright with my torch Red car.

LAPD is where I got my export 300km Z06 cluster. Maybe some places didn’t offer anything newer than C5? I have a 383 94 Trans Am and 98 C5 TT both done by Lingenfelter. I went with LPE thinking they would be able to service their builds for years to come. Guess what, they don’t. Now I’m going thru TPIS to rebuild my LT1 cause I dropped a valve.
Finally got a chance to try these on. Reached out to mallet to see they can still supply center caps as mine are pretty worn out. I'd like to get the stickers too to put back on the wheels. I'm going to look into getting them refinished.
Looking good. I’ve always liked the looks of the Mallet wheels and that influenced my choice to add a set of Forgeline SC1s a few years ago which have similar styling.
