Make sure you check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail after you replace the filter. I just replaced my filter with the same type you ordered (GF822 Delco) and the fuel pressure was 71psi vs. 58psi spec. It thru trouble codes P0172 and P0175 for too rich. I've heard other folks having similar problems with other brands of filters.
Especially if you took advantage of the “used, like new” option! I no longer ever ignore those.
I didn't even know used fuel filters where a thing. Since I have an '04 with the filter in the gas tank, I would not cheap out on a new one. The part doesn't cost that much, but the labor involved is a bitch.
