Hello everyone, where can I purchase Corvette emblems. Seems the last ones I bought looked like crap a couple of years on there. I had purchase them from flea bay, granted the last twelve years I have not had a garage, while in Caribbean carport three years. Is it the Florida sun damaging them?

Black plastic in the Florida sun. What could possibly go wrong? My ‘99s emblems did not last. Tried a chrome cast emblem on the foot, the painted flags faded in two years, about the same as the plastic, and now the chrome is pitting and peeling.
I have a new reproduction front emblem from Amazon. I have no faith it will last, but it was $25.

Pay the $$$ for genuine GM logos that last 15+ years or pay less for the cheap reproductions that need to be swapped out every 2-3 years.

My originals still look pretty good, but while detailing my 2004 last week, I accidentally broke off the bottom piece of one flag on the trunk emblem. Just ordered the OEM replacement. Original still looked pretty good after 19 years. A little bit of plastic crinkling from the Florida sun, but still pretty good shape.

I agree that OEM is the way to go. When you wax/ceramic coat your car, you can do the emblems too. That should provide at least a little protection from the sun. Good luck.

Be aware that the front emblem has locating posts that fit into holes. If you remove the front emblem, you will have holes left behind. You'll probably want to have them filled and painted over.

I recently found a set of replacement emblems on Ebay, and they are the "Matte finish silver" as opposed to the 'Chrome" and they look fantastic. If anyone wants some of the chrome ones I have some just laying around here ?. . . . Free just give me something for postage !
