Vette Lights new Animated Side Marker Lights

The Vette Lights animation is a little shorter than the other I have seen, but I think this is very sufficient in length and a little less redundant (my opinion). I am not sure if any other lights have this feature, but Vette Lights included an on/off switch so you can cancel the animation if you choose and still have working side marker lights.
I believe almost everyone is very familiar with how to remove and replace the rear side marker lights, so I did not make a video of it, but if you have any questions there are some excellent YouTube videos showing the removal/replacement of the marker lights. Two hints, though:
1. Before installing the new side marker lights, use the cutting nut to cut threads onto the shafts of the new marker lights....much easier this way rather than trying to cut the threads while the light is already in place.
2. With the bulb out of the wiring, connect this wiring to the plug in wiring in the light housing. Again, do this before inserting the light into place - not enough room to get both hands through the tail light opening to connect the wiring.
If you already have the Vette Lights Laser halo lights ("burger" style), with the 3 different light settings, these are the perfect addition to the rear sides of your C5. Just a fun little addition, and Vette Lights' price is about $15 less expensive than another set I saw basically comparable to these lights. And, these are available in smoked, clear and red; the others I have seen are smoked and clear only.
If I am not on the Forum for a while it may be because I have two broken arms. After installing these new animated side marker lights, I ordered the Vette Lights Laser halo lights and the matching high mounted stop light.

Here is a short video of the new light's animation. Sorry about the halo around the lights - I am not a professional photographer by any means.

Good to see innovation and new offerings are still coming to our "elder statesman" C5 platform

No they won't animate with the turn signals, just with initial power on.
(Now I am referring to any non-animated markers, like the you VL lasers you have)
You can modify these to blink...they just won't be used as side markers AKA steady state.
You also can modify them further to do both steady state and blink...but they'll blink out of sequence from one another.
I've done this with the side markers on my other car which didn't blink from OEM but now they do, albeit out of sequence.
Here you can see a video of the side markers blinking, but not in sequence with the rest of the signals.
Reason for this is because you have to tie both positive and negative leads of the side markers into positive feeds from the original side marker power and car side blinker positive to the marker's negative lead.
You should be able to get them to blink in sequence if you add a 5 pin relay and another flasher according to this schematic but I've not tried this
I am also a fan of the color matched, stealthy look too - can't go wrong either way! We actually have a few sets getting painted currently (arctic white/mil yellow/torch red/lemans blue).
Currently the smoked and red sets will ship with the updated sets that have the optional animation switch on them but there are some straggler clear sets that are the original style (though I can absolutely override this to an updated set if wanting clear - just let me know order number)!
As a side note, regarding the turn signal mode, totally doable with some creative wiring, but you'd likely want them in standard mode opposed to animated if going that route to avoid the animation sequence on each turn signal pulse.
