This isn't to start whining and complaining. My 2000 C5 needs quite a few things, least of which are new seat covers and foam. I can't believe how much things have gone up in price!!! Because my car needs a lot, it'll cost a lot. That's just the way it is. Still, I wasn't prepared to drop over 2 grand for new seat covers, foam, and bladders. Just saying, if you're like me, and need quite a few things done on your car, be prepared for a surprise. I'm expecting to spend around 10k on my car this year!!! 2 or 3 years ago, it would've been tough to hit 7k....
Four plus years ago leather covers $850 flea bay, bolsters back rest seat bottoms 500-600, while there I rebuilt seat tracks and repaired driver sear rear inboard a piece there breaks bends makes the seat sink. I did myself while in Caribbean caregiving for dad, he even lend a hand for a bit. Place skins in the sun, makes them more workable. $1500.00 and I did it myself. Best of luck 🤞
