Really upset. I made a post on here saying how my dad passed away and I got his c5. I wanted to protect it so I bought this car tent. It's been good but there must have been a strong wind storm and it moved. See the damage done.
The worst of all is that black mark. The rest looks like it could come out, they're not so deep but the black mark is. Any tips on how to get the little marks out would be helpful.
Then if you have any suggestions on who to bring it to...I don't think a detailer could do anything with the deep black mark.
The white marks/scuffs should come out with some compound and polish using a DA polisher (Harbor Freight special does the job just fine), but I'd try a clay bar first in case it's just paint transfer. Kinda hard to tell from the pics. They shouldn't be too difficult either way.
The black scratch looks like it's through the paint. My hatch got keyed a couple years ago and I just came across a youtube video that will walk you through that process as well. I'll be doing it myself soon. That scratch doesn't look too long, so shouldn't take tooo long either.

Thank you
A quality detailer, one that specializes in paint correction can make it look much better.
You gotta work on your attitude man... You're fine.. the car's fine.. You're with Corvette ! Things could be worse... It's added Character tell yourself and some day you'll have a garage. I know the feeling.
That mark on the door looks more like vandalism, than what would happen from the wind flopping a loose car cover around......unless there's some sort of debris stuck to the inside of your cover. As others have recommended, I think a professional detailer/body shop would be your best course of action.
