I have had my 95 coupe for under a year now, and I think its time to upgrade! I'm in the market for a 2002 z06 and have a couple questions.
I probably won't be able to purchase one until late May, but I figured I would start looking now. I would like to get a lower mileage (<10,000) MY z06 for $40,000 or less; sound possible? Also, this car will be used as a daily driver, anything I should know about these cars that put it at a disadvatage as a daily (unreliable under certain circumstances)? Thanks.
40k for a 02 with around 10k on the odometer sounds like it will be possible. There was a 02 with 1500miles on it around the corner from me at a dealership and they wanted $41,500 so I think a good deal and probally higher miles and you will be there. Daily driver, no issues.
Mine have one major problem. It cannot be driven at the legal speed limit. The best minds in GM tried to resolve that issue but unfortunately they have all failed. Besides that, its one hell of a car, BUY IT

My only advice to you is that if you cannot buy until May, be careful. Don't go test driving until you are ready to buy. One test drive and you are history!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats some pretty good advice.. If you do you will be hooked, once hooked you are done for.
It's just a kick in the butt to drive these cars. When I punch it, I don't know if it looks like I am showing the car off, but I never hang around to find out.
Don't go to the dentist for a good smile. :D Get a Z06!.

:iagree: I don't get to drive ours all that much, 'cause it's HerZ, but she's been traveling this week, so.... :smash:
If you buy a used car, you'll probably pay 5% interest on the loan (assuming you're not paying cash). Therefore, you may actually have a higher payment than buying a new car with 0% financing (maybe it's not available today, but I bet it will be again). Make sure to compare new versus used options before you buy.
