My car came with a Block It U Stop car cover. (least that's what the tag on cover says) I did a Google search and came up with the Block It name but appears to be somewhat different from what I have. Mine is tan with a waffle type finish. Over the years it has got quite dirty even tho the car with cover is stored indoors, Anyone know of washing instructions for this cover. I'm thinking one of the big front load washing machine at the laundromat. Ideas?

When I had a car cover, I would take it to the laundromat, use a commercial washer with some mild laundry soap and wash the cover. I would then bring the wet cover home and let it air dry.

This is what I do, a large washer costs about $3.00 and as above, take it home and hang of a line, it'll dry out very quickly as it is suppose to when on your car. I think all are the same when it comes to washing.
For my indoor car cover on the Vette, I use simple green in a commercial washing machine. Warm water. I use the dryer too, medium (not hot) heat. Never had an issue.
For my other indoor car covers, which are the stretchy kind of material, I wash the same but dryer is on fluff (no heat).
Thanks again for for everyone's cleaning suggestions but no longer needed. Took the cover off and lo and behold Mickey and Minnie had taken up residence. Guess I'm in the market for a new cover.
