Z06 Driving Schools
Are there any dringing schools out there that use corvettes at all. I mean for the students to drive. Are they expensive? Where are they?
Thanks

For those on the West coast.
Bob Bondurant School of driving just switched over to Chevrolet here in
Arizona. He has C5 coupes, a couple cadillacs, and a couple Z06's.
A funny note on this.
I heard a AM radio spot where Bob bondurant was being interviewed about his new cars from Chevrolet and particularly the Z06 and his response was
" A Z06 is a racecar with a license place"

But the Corvettes at Bondurants won't be available for use till around March. I was at Bob's last Saturday and talked to him about it.

Re: Z06 Driving Schools (fact5racer)
I sent them an email about this a while ago and somebody eventually called me. As I recall, the cost for the 3 day was 3195.
They also promised they would get their web site fixed, as it is supposed to list the various course prices, but so far, that hasn't happened...

Question for those that have attened the Bragg School: would you consider it a "driving" school or a "racing" school?

I would characterize it as somewhere in the middle, perhaps a bit towards the racing side, but not much. The point of the school is to get you around the track in the shortest time possible, teaching you techniques of balance and smoothness, so from that perspective its about racing. That having been said though, you never actually
race anybody, not counting the time where you ride with the instructors and they chase each other around the track. They do not teach passing techniques nor starts so it definitely is not a 'pure' racing school. Indeed, even in the Level 2 course, passing is strictly constrained to the two straights, so it really isn't about racing.
But you spend a lot of time on the track on your own, so it's not just a driving school either ...
