Corvette leaks from windows pretty badly im already replacing the rear roof panel weatherstrip, Part #10329158... But water comes from what looks like the windshields weatherstrips as well. The windshield weatherstrips PART#:10333466.. cost an arm and 3 legs and unfortunately i am not a man of 3 legs. But my windshield weather strips look fine to me, sure they are old but they dont look like they would cause a problem. Is there something im missing, or do i have to replace these weatherstrips?

That sounds contradictory...
You'll need to test your weather stripping. Get a hose and a friend and have him spray the car and the area that seems to be leaking. You get in your car and look for leaks. Pretty simple. You might find it quicker if you remove some of the trim pieces first.
Weatherstripping can sometimes mimic a house roof. It can be leaking in a place that's not where the actual problem is. There's a few threads here that talk about a company that's finally making reproduction windshield trim/weatherstripping. I can't remember the company's name at the moment, though. A search should steer you in the right direction, if it's that piece is actually leaking....

I had changed the inner pillar trim and weather strip rails. Required me prying out the old weather strip up front and rails in better condition for the apillars infront of mirror complete assembly. I noticed the underside of the strip had a bunch of black sealant maybe from the factory but im guessing to prevent any leaking when the weatherstrip was applied. I do have a minor leak on the passenger side side i think at the back of the targa any idea what this could be? My 98 z28 t-tops leaked barely but my 98 z28 t tops didnt.
I was inspecting my windshield weather strips today.. Completely shot on the passenger side, when i had a leak like you're describing mine was coming from a small hole in the corner of my window. The guy who sold me the car just had it sitting out in his yard in the sun and it took its toll on the car and messed up everything so im having to fix his **** ups. I got a really good deal on the car because it needed a lot of love, little mechanic love still to this day needs cosmetic love.
