Another Fine C5 Day
One of the fellers brought his '04 in for a little TLC clay barring, it was a pleasure to do. ps: this posted especially for CF member Chuck A, I know how much he likes my threads.

you must really love me because you just keep bringing out my name , let’s see if we can get you a puppy or a cat so it can keep you company
The Torch Red really pops on that '04. Reminds me of Kenny's '04 with MCM SC hood except this hood is even taller. What's hiding under that large scoop?
Why does this make me want to buy a big enough property to host car shows now?
The main red one looks great.
One topic for them to ponder..... the lip pushed the nose slightly forward, the cowl raises the angle to the back.... a small tasteful spoiler on the back end (spoiler, not wing) might balance that look off perfectly.
Carbon Creations makes one which is a direct clone of the original SLP spoiler which they no longer make.
I am typically not a fan of spoilers or wings much. But these two seem tasteful and a good match for the work already done on that vert. I think it would look right.

The gentleman who owns the C5 is in his 80's now, bought it as it looks, he just wants to keep it nice looking, has no desire to remove or add anything.
Off topic question for the OP. I just watched Crimson Tide for the 5th time and I have always wondered if COB was the guys actual name or an abbreviation for Chief of the Boat.......Sorry, Air Force here......
I was a member for a few years. Then I broke the trans in the vette and got out while it was broke. Haven't joined back up since I had the trans rebuilt.

Air Force here too.
I was still running SAR boats (41UTB) when I made chief in the Coast Guard, the crew and others at the station started calling me ChiefBoats (not to be confused with the Navy's "Chief Of The Boat" or COB, in the submarine service). The name has stuck with me. My rate as a Boatswains Mate, it is customery to call a crewmember or coxswain "boats", in my case, they had to throw the "Chief" in front of it.
