In reviews it said they were. They looked right and they appeared to be of decent quality. Anything was better than factory. If my new ones die I may go back to these. Free was too good to pass up even for factory ones.
I can't say anything is better than OEM. My replacement visors lasted just 10 months/7,000 miles.
I got replacement visors maybe a year or so ago. I can't remember where I bought them and can't find a trace of it in my email. I'm super careful with them and never open the lid for the mirror. I had my 10 yr old daughter with me yesterday and moved the visor down for her to help block the sun. Randomly she decided to open the lid "what's this?" and crack... breaks off. Really?????? And of course, now the LED light is stuck on. In the parking lot of Walgreens and knowing it couldn't be fixed (and quite pissed off), I literally pried it apart with my fingers to get the lights to turn off. And now I have a mirror with sharp edges exposed. POS.
While the OEM ones seem to fall apart with the mirror assembly separating from the visor itself, the fragile hinges seem to be the weak point of the aftermarket ones... and from what I can tell of the aftermarket ones look the same, regardless of price.
But because the Nakuuly ones on Amazon said "lifetime warranty" I took a chance with those. Heck - if I could buy visors without the mirrors at all I would!
Thank you very much! Your post was very helpful, and the info you provided is exactly what I'm looking for. Some said to ask Lyle! Asking any business owner if the product online for half what that business owner is asking for the same product is a good way to **** him off, and quickly!!! I'm trying to save money, not make enemies. I live in Michigan, so Lyle is over 1,300 miles away. That complicates any warranty claims I may have. I saw the product at C&S recently, when I was in the area, and Lyle was kind enough to show them to me. It's not feasible to see the online products in person before ordering. BTW, I like your 2 tone seats. What brand covers are they?Again, thank you for your time.
Sure. Glad I can help. I live local to C&S and per their website, they were out of stock on the visors so that's why I headed to Amazon. Plus, he never calls me back as I've tried to work with him on two C5 projects with no response after multiple calls, emails, and messages. Guess I have bad breath, or he doesn't want the business, or is too busy shooting You Tube videos.
The seat skins and memory foam are from Top Flight Automotive, aka Corvette America. 100% leather and one of the few vendors who legally can offer the embroidered C5 logo and lettering.
i have never thought about visors.fixed mine because i wanted them to work. really never use them. it's that little plastic on off button that was not working. play around with it till it works good then hot glue it. worked good

I have noticed Lyle can be moody at times. Last year, I needed to have new struts put on my Verts Tonneau cover, and trunk. I tried to make an appointment with him. He told me just drive it in, and they'd do it. I said I can do the trunk, but not the Tonneau cover. I'm coming from 100 miles away, are you sure? I couldnt get a time or day. When I pressed him further, he hung up on me!! UNBELIEVABLE!! I called back immediately and Steve answered. He said Lyle just had a bad experience on a phone call just before mine. How the Hell does that relate to the next customer, me!?? I guess most of us can be moody at times. However, most of us are also not in the the Corvette sales/consumer relations business. He told me in late March that he was booked up for work until July, so I'd have to wait at least 4 months. It wasn't what he said, it's HOW he said it! He sounded like I should thank God he was taking the time to talk to me. I told him when I was in last time, it would've cost around $1,800.00 to install a new Evap, all new actuators, new heater core, and a couple of vent louvers. Know what he said? Real nasty, he says 'Yeah, well, it's like $2,500 now, and I'm booked until July.' Doesn't sound like he needs my business......
I saw, in person@ C&S, the sun visors that Lyle/C&S sells. Does anyone know for sure which ones Amazon is selling that are identical to what C&S sells? There's Aumzong and Wztepeng?? Thanks guys...
I bought these on Amazon and they look almost identical to C&S.
Bought these a few weeks ago for $60 off of Amazon. Very pleased
Nobody knows what "these" are. A little detail, like brand name, would be greatly appreciated. They all look good when new, and they all look pretty much the same with the mirror cover shut. Thanks for the info....

I kept the originals and if needed I could see if I can move the mirrors over if needed.
The OE mirrors were mounted by thermal swaging of integral plastic pins. I’ve experimented with three sets over the years and those pins almost always break off at the base. If you do find a way to skive the swaging the remaining pin will be too short to swage again.

here’s the link… unfortunately looks like they’re sold out
Dasbecan Left Driver & Right Passenger Side Sun Visor Compatible with Chevrolet Corvette C5 1997-2004 Sunvisors with Bright LED Light... https://a.co/d/drKdXIu
Brand names mean little with the knock offs. The same visor can be sold under 6 different names or a specific brand can change depending on the supplier.
You have to look at the fabric and how the mirrors are to see what one is what.
I bought the Amazon ones after the factory replacements that were put on recently failed. They came with the car.
I like them the mirror light switch is on the top and can not accidently come on. Plastic interior boards. and the LED lights work well.
They also have a detent that keeps them in one sport. Nice in the convertible as they always are in the same place even.
They are like the ones in the photo above. Nice for the price and better than factory.
C5 owners should beware of the visors that use a small, round white push in switch! It is so stiff that I'm certain that is what broke my passenger side outer door hinge. Too bad, because the visors seem far superior to the OEMs. I've noticed many Chinese products can be made pretty well, but it seems there's almost always one critical little thing about the product that sinks it. Details matter. Also, guys, women ARE going to use the mirror. Period. Gotta accept it. So, mirror door life is very important, no matter how good the rest of the product is. I'll post a pic of the visor with the white push switch that broke the outer hinge, if I don't forget!!
OK, I actually found time AND remembered I said I'd try to post pics. So, here they are. Note this is the right side, and also note the most important thing: That little white pin, which must have a valvespring keeping it extended!! It is STIFF!! I'm 99% certain this is why the hinge gave up. Not only the hinge, but the cover itself is actually broken. If you see this style, DO NOT BUY IT!!! I barely got 1 year out of it. Sad, because they look to be made rather well. This one detail turned a nice product into pure junk...
