I use a master blaster 8 hp car dryer and the C5 I just got had some junk in the ac ducts. Bits would come out as I drove.
Well I applied the blower to the vents and removed a ton of insulation from the ducts. Itvwas like it was snowing. The dealer did remove a nest from the blower but they did not clean the ducts.
But it is all out as nothing more is coming out and I have a good blast of air.
To this point I have found no wire damage anywhere so I count myself lucky in this aspect.
One may use a shop vac in reverse to do something similar.
Now that you have solve your problem, consider installing a BARDS (Boris Anti Rodent Deterrence System). The BARDS works 24/7/365, uses no electricity (environmentally friendly), easy to install and free at your local shelter. They operate on kitty food and only require a small box for "extra parts disposal." The operating system is completely quiet with no wire to attach or extra programing necessary. Plus, they will cuddle in your lap as you read CF on your lap top. Mice no more!

Well the nest was a previous owner.
I am a dog guy not cats. But I have an agreement with a ton of feral cats that I see at night on my ring door bells and never see in the day.
Been here 12 years with my shop and have not see or trapped one mouse in that time.
We get along great.
I did have one cat that would show herself. We called her Chong. She was an FU cat and was all tore up. We would meet in day time one in a while but age or a Coyote got her.
This forum was very helpful to me in finding a mouse nest, so I wanted to give back by letting everyone know where I found the one in my C6... I am not sure how to describe this but, it was near the cabin blower fan. If you run an endoscope from the center of the car down towards the blower fan, there seems to be a cavity there where I found a nest. I bought the endoscope on Amazon, and it allowed me to see it. It was about 18" down. I used a garden hose on a shop-vac to suction out all the nest. I hope this info helps someone in the future! If anyone knows what this area of the ducting is called or used for, please state it here. Thank y'all!
The AC ducts and blower motor are prime areas as I think the get in through the cowl.
Just the nature of the Corvette often being limited use vehicles not always parked in a rodent fee environment is a problem counter measures are well advised.
Always check for wire damage too as the Soy based wires often can be damaged.

I wish I knew what the area they were in was called or used for...? I don't seem to smell the nest while the cabin air is on... Are there drawings available where I can ID the space they occupied? It may help others later with their problems.
I would pull up a phot of the AC duct and circle it.
or the blower motor box under the dash.
Mine was both areas. Who ever had my car must have had it in a garage with mice and the material looked like moving pad stuffing. It was not any insulation from the car.
You also need to watch the tail pipes as they will clog up a muffler too. Sometimes they can blow or some times not so much.
The key is to get the nest out as. Ome summer in the hot sun the car will smell like a nursing home.
I was inserting the endoscope here, pushing it down a bit an towards the passenger side door. This compartment did not open up into the air filter area. Again I am not sure what this area is called...?
