And, as killain suggested a new or fully charged battery will commonly fix this issue. Please understand the C5s are very sensitive to voltage and if the battery is not fully charged your Corvette will not function correctly or perhaps not even function, at all.
I would encourage you to first try a fully charged battery and then if all is not working correctly, please let us know what “symptoms “ your car is presenting and what error codes are showing up on the DIC. Remember, “C” is a current issue and “H” indicates a problem in the past (a History code).
