It's a beautiful sunny day, got the top down, just leaving Centennial Beach. My partner can't find her sun glasses. I pull over to the side of the road, pop the trunk., hear someone pull in behind me. He's driving a Vette, asks if I'm ok, do you need any help. I tell him no thanks, but thanks for pulling over and asking, explain that I'm looking for my partners sun glasses. There certainly are some great people in the Corvette community.
That what it's all about. A few years ago I saw a guys stuck by the side of the road on the shoulder of an interstate close to home, he has a C3 and the radiator was leaking, so I went to the next exit and knew of an auto parts store there, got him some anti-freeze, a lower hose and some hose clamps, went back to the side of the road where he was and got him up and running and he paid me what I had spent off he goes. I felt like I had passed on the thing we all feel as Corvette owners feel. but the sense I had done something good lasted a long time !

Could you maybe follow me around when I take my car out lol
VERY nice thing you did for that guy. That there is going above and beyond. Good on you!
I remember when I had my 1970 new vette. Back then it was headlight flipping. Used to reach under the dash and pull the lever that raised the headlights.....
Aided a broken classic 68 on I 85 oreegon once.. by driving his female date, who was not at all happy, to her hotel destination.... Ooo! goodness my thoughts.. but I terminated my good, broken, Corvette deed by being a complete, come to the aid gentleman ! 🙄
