Default Tricked Z06

Looked at a C5 Z06 with numerous aftermarket upgrades, top of engine, cam, drive, suspension, probably $10K in parts. It sounds fine, runs good and feels good. My concern is durability, am I getting into a money pit? Is there anything I should be aware of or to look for?
Thanks

Read all the sticky's at the top of the C5 column. The C5 is 26 to 19 years old. There will be mechanical and electrical issues. If you are not a person that can do the work yourself, find a repair facility that knows C5's. Your local Corvette Club is a good resource.

It all depends on the build. If this was a well thought out professional build, you should be fine. With the aftermarket cam, you might want to keep an eye on the valve springs. Does the seller have documentation for the build? That can go a long way towards knowing that it is a good build that was properly done. The C5 is a very reliable platform when properly cared for. My biggest piece of advice would be to get a pre-purchase inspection. If everything checks out and you like the car, go for it! rrwirsi is correct that all of these cars are older, so make sure you're prepared for regular maintenance.
