Thanks!! Glad HD finally gave Vets the discount. Many years it was just active duty.

I have been getting the Vet discount for at least 12 years now from them and also Lowes. However, HD did change their policy about 5 years ago in that you had to have yourself registered with them to get the discount. Simple to do by emailing your DD214 to them and then when you checkout, you just ask for the discount, and they verify by either their app on your phone or your phone number. At Lowes I just show them my Vet card and that is good enough for them. HD use to be the same way by showing your Vet card by like I said they changed their policy and I have no idea why. Cheers!!!
