There was in fact a difference between Sport and Touring? I thought they are the same muffler...started as Touring then a simple name change to Sport was done. Then there is the Xtreme (different muffler).
The original Corsa's sold for the first C5's had two models, the first and loudest was called the "Pace Car" the second model (not much louder than the stock mufflers) was called "Touring".
At some later date, the "Pace Car" was renamed "Sport". The "Touring" model remained. When the "Xtreme" model was released, I think Corsa dropped the "Touring" model.
The only two models available now are "Xtreme" and "Sport"
I'm actually pretty bummed to find out Corsa will sell the over axle pipes for only ~$200. There was a seller on ebay a few months ago that listed an otherwise good set of Xtreme mufflers for $130. I took too long to try to figure out if my older Sport over axle pipes would work and someone else jumped on them. Pretty sure I saw them pop up here in the classifieds shortly after lol
I used some black stainless amazon specials. The trick is finding something very short that doesn't stick 2 foot out the back of the car.
Ultimately I felt bad hacking up the old Corsa setup but in the end I do like it much better. They have them in non black but I like the black and I don't feel like I have to keep them spotless lol.
