I've never run them, but there are forum members who do. They're pretty decent from most accounts. What are you looking for in a tire? How do you use your car? If you use it for normal day to day driving the Firestones will be fine for you.

thanks just normal driving so they should be fine. Not many choices for C5’s.
I put Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 on my C5Z about 6ish months ago. Went with base C6 wheels, and upped the tire size a tad : F 255/40/18 & R 285/35/19. I really like this size tire, they're about 1" taller than stock C5Z tires, and much more readily available. For "just regular driving" these tires are working well and that's with cooler (SoCal) weather. They'll probably do even better once it finally gets past 70 degrees.
@keepah if you would prefer, you can contact Tire Rack directly and have the tires shipped to a Discount Tire store near you for Certified installation. If there are no locations near you, Tire Rack can locate an installer in your area. What size tires where you thinking of going with?
In the 70's I was running on I65 at night.
I had a load of steel on, I had loaded in New Orleans
at the docks. I blew a brand new Firestone trailer tire and
bent a cross member ,on the trailer. I walked for 6 miles to a
truck stop for a tire. Firestone would not honor the warranity.
I had to pay for the tire. The basterds. Two years later, they send
me a letter. Oh, the tire was defective. Yea, 200,000 miles
later and too late. I swore off, and,, I told Firestone, that I would
never say a good thing about Firestone, EVER.
PS. I had 8 new Firestone tires on the trailer and I got rid of all
of them.

Stock tires for a 1999 C5-front 245/45/R17-Rear 275/40/R18 non run flat.Forgot to mention I am from PEI,Canada
I have been running these for about 6,000 miles and two track days. So far they have been very impressive. Not noisy, good grip, hook up well and the price is right compared to some other brands. I am running about 400 hp at the rear wheels. Would buy these tires again.
I have them and really like them, they look good, and the car seems to feel more sporty driving, hard to explain but it feels like less rolling resistance and steers easier than Michelin zero pressure tires I replaced.
Also had wheels aligned at same time, maybe that was part of it.
I have them on my 2003 and like them alot. They ride well, and handle well and are definitely quieter than my Michellin run flats. I dont do performance or track runs, so for me they are perfect. If you are going to do some heavy track and performance driving, they may not be for you.
