Ooooh that smell,
02 very I recently purchased and it was sitting outside for a couple years uncovered. Inside smells funky more like mold or mildew thus I am guessing it’s from leaks in top….anyway I have cleaned the carpets and used a couple products with no avail……..all suggestions will be appreciated and if I have to pull carpet so be it as this is a low mileage great car with no other issues at all.

If you just can’t eliminate the smell from the car, take it to a good detail shop and have them work their magic. They should have all the right tools and products to get the car smelling like new again.

I borrowed an ozone air purifier and ran it for 4 hours last evening. opened up the car and laid the top down to air out but right now I can't smell anything. Plan to put top back up and sit it outside in sun for a couple hours and see what we have then. fingers crossed.

Won't ever go away, the stink, so you're gonna have to somehow aquire a clean C5 Corvette, unmolested and cared for by a normal person, not a flake as this one seams to have been ... You'll just have to spend additional money on your dearm car or be chasing normalcy with that one for years!... Good luck.

We will see. I pulled the carpet and found mildew under driver side seat. Likely from leak while car sat outside. I cleaned with odorxit, cleaned carpet and reinstalled before running machine. I think it’s gonna be fine. Car is immaculate otherwise. Not my “dream car “ anyway, the one I want has more zeros in the price… lol

PS, purchased from original owner and just hit 35k mikes, make someone a nice ride for sure. I installed 3:42 rear gears and borla axel back. He got sick and car sat for a couple years covered up outside
