Default Intake Hose Replacement

Recently threw a vacuum leak code and I found the area of concern. No idea what the previous owner did here but can anyone tell me what PNs here I need to replace? I have no idea what this is supposed to look like, and reference images with decent angles are surprisingly hard to come by.

Maybe the Original Owner had a problem out on the road and committed that . . . Repair. But you need to replace it with nylon reinforced PVC hose. The kind that won't break down to petroleum fumes. If I'm not wrong, the same correct hose is Gates #27556 This is reinforced so it doesn't break down internally.

Are you saying he should leave it as is? He knows what it is now, so he can replace it with an oem hose.

Because we have a picture of the problem he is asking about. What more do we need to know to address the specific problem he asked about?

2. does the picture include all the mods the car has? Maybe this car needs a secondary pcv valve which has been added here.

try and keep up here.
THAT pcv hose should be replaced. With another oem hose, which will look rather similar to what is currently there. Try and keep up here.

This is semi-universal PVC and nylon reinforced PVC hose. It is used on most any late model INC engine. It needs to be nylon reinforced so it Will-Not collapse under vacuum. you can reinstall your PVC valve were it is best located, or where GM put it ! And it costs about $15.00 at most auto supply houses.
