Sony CarPlay Issues
Looking to get some thoughts here from fellow C5 CarPlay users. I just had a Sony headunit and backup camera installed that I bought from Crutchfield with the appropriate adapters, and used a reputable local shop to do the work. After the install, every few times I go into reverse, my backup camera glitches out or just doesn't work at all. And yesterday, the audio got all "crackly" and the headunit shut down while I was in the middle of driving. This is a 2003 C5 with 32k miles.
Would appreciate any insight that anyone can offer? The shop will be taking the car back for further diagnosis next week.

Crutchfield has excellent customer service and i'm sure if it happens to be an issue with any of the equiptment they will take car of you. You could also call crutchfield tech support for help. Good luck getting things fixed with it.

Since you had it installed, I would go back to the installer and let them look at it. Crutchfield will help with the issue too so give them a call. Guess from a mile away is the the head unit has a problem or there's an issue with power to the unit.
