Ecs trans/diff brace install question

Default Ecs trans/diff brace install question
Hey guys got one of the ecs braces and a little confused. On their installation instructions on their site it says to tighten the upper and lower bars to bring the trans and diff together. But then I saw a video where it says to tighten the upper bars and loosen (move apart) the lower ones. Which way is correct? I would think that tightening them both would be the correct way. Thanks guys

Tighten them all about a 1/4 turn then tighten the nuts down

Thank you. That's what I figured but went 1/2 turn and locked them down according to the instructions on their site. Appreciate it!

Tighten 1/2 turn.
