I have a 2004 C5 that occasionally displays the "Service traction control" message on the dash. Along with this, frequently when braking I can feel ABS kicking in when it definitely should not be (dry roads, sunny day, perfect road conditions).
I just cleaned the ground below the battery and the ground splice pack near the front of the engine (I don't know how else to describe it). After I cleaned these I cleared the codes and continued to get these same 6 ABS/TC codes:
C1121 - LF WHEEL SPEED SENSOR INPUT SIGNAL IS 0
C1222 - RF WHEEL SPEED SENSOR INPUT SIGNAL IS 0
C1242 - BRAKE PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE PUMP MOTOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
C1248 - DYNAMIC REAR PROPORTIONING (DRP) DISABLED
C1278 - TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS) TEMPORARILY INHIBITED BY POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)
C1287 - STEERING SENSOR RATE MALFUNCTION
That's a pretty good list of codes. It does seem like there ought to be a singular cause for all of them, would be quite the coincidence if they're all occurring separately/on their own.

Only chiming in here because I started looking into EBCM stuff... last night my '01Z threw a C1214 code that wouldn't clear, and that code is the EBCM 'death' code from what I understand. Without C1214 I don't think EBCM solder fix will help, but it also won't hurt as apparently these EBCMs will all eventually need solder fix.
