Default Radiator Insulators

Hi I’m looking for the radiator support grommet for my 1999 Chevy Corvette. I’ve been told they are called insulators ? Apparently they’ve been discontinued and I don’t know where to go about finding it. Any suggestions ?

Try VetteNuts, a forum supporting vendor that specializes in used parts. A good source for those hard to find pieces.

Go to the source!

https://www.prothanesuspensionparts...._corvette_2002

If you look down, they have them but says a 10-12 week wait as they are a special order item

^^^^^^^^THIS 100%.^^^^^^^^ Marc Rose is a great guy to deal with. If for some reason he doesn't have the part he needs, OP could also give Lyle@C&S/Corvette Parts Center in Sarasota, Florida a shout.....

Well about that all I can say is that they fit the OEM radiator like a glove because I test fitted them on it. Unfortunately, the new aluminum rad has a different profile so I had to massage the left insulator (only) to make it accept the different lower profile of the aluminum radiator. That being said it came out just fine, no complaints. On the flip side I found myself some scrap poly and rubber and made my own which came out much better for the fitment. Lesson learned is that when you have custom anything and expect OTC parts to fit like OEM, chance are they will not. I don't know if DW has their own supports but I would first hit them up and get their opinion. Cheers!!!
