C5 19 inch rim offset question
Hi guys, posting for a friend....he just purchased a C5 convertable and found a deal on some rims....the fronts are 19 x 8.5 with an offset of 43, and the rears are 19 x 10 with an offset of 24. He hasnt put them on yet to see how they are, and has no tires either....any idea how these may fit with the sizing ? thanks !!!!!

I'm no wheel expert, but many people have used base C6 wheels on their C5 including myself. The rear is a 19x10 with a +79 offset. I added a .75" spacer to have it sit flush with the fender. I think an offset of only 43 would be waay too tucked in to look good.

Offset works the other direction. Less offset means the wheel sticks out farther. So a rear wheel with only 24 mm offset is going to stick out over 2 inches further than a 79 mm offset wheel. I don't think that is going to work.

the fronts will likely stick beyond the fender and the rears will stick out even further. a 19x10 rear wheel should be around +50mm or so for the c5
