Now do not judge them by the car they have them on as it is the worst example. These are no drill flaps that have a bracket that they use in the rear to attach the flap to. The flaps have adjustability and you can move them around.
I just installed new larger tires and wanted to avoid the blasting on the rockers and mirror chips.
They do come in colors and are well made.
Note the car was just lifted and was not driven to settle yet. So she is sitting high in the photos.
I had considered the fender flairs but just did not like how the blended in. These kind of vanish in the tire profile.
I recently found if I over sprayed the rockers with spray paint and then buffed it removed the small sand blasting chips. I was lucky I have a solid color in Torch Red. I am not sure this would work with a metallic paint.
This is definitely a polarizing topic. Kinda like BSMs.
I think they look terrible.
It's the equivalent of carpet runner in your house, or 1970s couch cushion covers.
That, being said, hopefully they do everything you ask of them.
Look this is just personal opinion and just something we all need to decide for ourselves.
It would be like me saying I hate black cars because because most look dirty. . (Note I own a black car too so that is not true for me) But that is up to the owner and no one else.
Also a lot depends on where you live. Our roads are crap here and I hate stone chips more than a bit of plastic few ever notice.
On some things it is best to not comment on others choices. I see a lot here not my taste but more power to em. If they are happy that is all that matters.
Thanks for posting the pics and link to the product site. They look as they will perform well. I've looked at guards and like the protection,,, in my case, the previous owner did not have any chip protection and the paint appeares "sand-blasted" . Its a black car so black wax is covering it well for now. If I ever paint it ill use some form of paint protection.

Yours looks great,,,
I think I will add clear rocker protection over winter.
While installing flaps I used a light spray of paint on the part of the rocker sticking out in front of the rear tire.
I then used an aggressive pad to remove the surface paint leaving the blasted area filled.
On Torch red it worked Well. I would not recommend on a metallic paint.
I did my truck with clear XPEL when new and it works well. But damaged paint often looks worse covered. Now that I fixed it I may reconsider it.
There was a post on here some while back about how to modify OEM C6Z06 "flaps" for C5's, from Deegee I think. I thought they ended up looking OK. Of course, don't know if they are still available. And a number of companies make that style of flap (Z06 knockoff) for C5's.

I looked at the C5 Z06 adaption but it stood out too much on red. It may work well for a black car.
They had enough adjustability to keep them in the tires profile to let them blend in.
Now the Z06 look good on some cars but a red Convert I really did not want any more flap sticking out than needed.
I think if I had gone with 295 tires that would have been an option.

I ran the RPI product on my cars for a long time and they worked great, but that was with stock size tires. If your tires are wider, then this looks like a good alternative and should protect the car very well.

Yes they were fine with stock tires. Now if they included 4 fronts they would work on the rear with larger tires.
But these are thicker and that rest mount is better than the clips.
