Hello fellow corvetters, I have started my own youtube channel based on me driving my C5 Corvette around East TN and fixing its many cosmetic problems. As of 2 hours or so ago I posted my first video, Any advice or anything like that is much appreciated, just please don't chop my head off I'm kind of new to the whole thing. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoj...0fA3eeT58zQuUQ
Mr. Blue,
Kudos to you for taking the time to share your video with the world.
A couple things stood out right away. First was the sound. Seemed like there wasn't anything but wind. If that's the case just post it without audio. You'll save your viewers bandwidth. Second was editing, there didn't appear to be any. Much of any video footage taken during a driving trip will end up on the cutting room floor because it's of little interest to the average viewer. A third thing was camera placement. Fully one third of your video never changes, it's just your car filling most of the lower half of the video. Mounting the camera behind the windshield would solve that, your wind noise, and allow you to use a remote microphone to include some narration that you can either include in the video or use as reminders later for your voiceover or subtitles if you decide to try different presentation methods.

Looking forward to your future works,
Mr. Pink
This is very helpful. Thank you, my next video i will put the camera behind the windshield i did do some editing but it was very little and its a pretty long video, i'm also learning to edit along the way but i will shorten up the videos and do some more editing.
I had begun the venture for fun this summer, got into video editing and cheap adapters for the go-pro and as soon as that ball got rolling I fell into an all-consuming new job where I have been 6 and 6.5 days per week. Even today I thought I would do a 2 hour project but it turned out to be 8. Such is life.
Here's my channel if anyone has the interest. Nil for content currently, but I do plan to do some walk-arounds on projects on the Z06 which are still fully accessible as well as any/all progress. All of that is at a halt right now.
Thanks for the vid and I sub'd. Was looking for the Hellcat in your vid but did not find it. Honestly, I was jumping through the vid so I most likely missed it. If you can share the timestamp when that happens I would like to see it. I love anything fast even if it is a HC but for me F the HC as I would rather be behind a C5. YOLO and cheers!!!
Suggest you decide on a subject for each video. Each segment needs a beginning, middle, and end. Just like writing a paper for school, you need an intro with a topic sentence and the supporting items you intend to discuss. Then, support segments, and close with a conclusion. It’s entertainment, so you needs to keep your audience engaged. Good luck, doesn’t sound very easy!
Attached are some links that may provide some guidance.
