You can get a tune through the mail. I know ECS does them. However, a mail order tune will never be as good as an actual dyno tune. Have you tried Google? I'm certain that there has to be a good speed shop in both the Philly and Pittsburgh areas. I realize neither are super close to you, but they're close enough. Just take it easy, and don't push the car too hard on the way there. You'll have a check engine light on, but you won't blow anything up as long as you don't do anything stupid. Good luck!
As a side note, I would consider high flow cats over a catless setup. It's less than a 5 HP difference between the two. With all the new emissions laws being passed, the cats will ensure that you don't run into any headaches down the road. You also won't have to deal with the smelly exhaust fumes. Finally, modern high flow cats remove 95% of harmful emissions with VERY little impact on performance. There's really no good reason to go catless on a street driven car. Just my $0.02.
I tried google. Called some numbers, but no luck so far. I am open to driving to Pittsburgh for a tune, but looking locally first.
Open to any good Pittsburgh tuner recomendations as well.
As far as cats are concerned, I am indifferent. The system I'm buying is catless, and I live in a county that doesn't do emissions testing, so I'm not really worried one way or another. But, I appreciate the 2 cents.
