C5 Oil Dipstick

Aloha!

I have an ‘82 Vette that just received an Ls1 from an ‘01 Z28. I’m using a batwing oil pan from a ‘99 Vette. Does anyone know if the dipstick from my Z28 LS1 is reading accurately considering I swapped to the batwing?

Does anyone know if both engines use the same location for the dipstick to enter the block?

does anyone have the dipstick from an early year C5 available to measure how much the dipstick sticks out of the tube on the bottom?

Any help is appreciated.
