I ordered mine a couple weeks ago. Every dealer I contacted wanted $248. One said he would knock off 5-10%. I found a dealer advertising a 15% off anything over $200. With that savings with tax just under $200. The box it comes in is huge so either have a pickup or take it out of the box and let the dealer deal with the cardboard. These are the retainers I used.
The "christmas tree" shaft is slightly smaller than OEM but they seem to hold well.

:this goes by truck freight due to size. UPS and Fed Ex will not take it.
I would avoid any shipping unless they offer a deal. Summit at times will have free truck freight offers. They normally have a flat rate shipping that is better than most.
Most GM part web sites are often crazy shipping charges. Check before you order.
This is a dimensional shipping item the truck companies will charge a rate based on size vs weight.
And you can’t bend these.
