Door lock

2003 How to reset so doors will unlock when I turn off the car? They lock, but do not unlock. Thank You Big bat

Press the option button on the dash and then scroll thru to see I think it says "unlock on exit" or something to that effect

I do not have a C5 to check for sure, but IIRC the setting is in the menu as mentioned above.

IIRC, you have to pull the key out slightly. The C5 is "ancient" when compared to modern systems. On many newer, high end cars, you set them so they unlock when you put the vehicle in park, or shut it off, etc. Hell, my CTS had an adjustment for how far back the drivers seat moved, so as not to crush something behind the seat! The C5 just moves back all the way. Yes, I know you can't crush anything behind the drivers seat, but you get what I'm saying, which is there are even more bells and whistles on the newer cars, which equates to more things to go wrong.....
