I used that one and it went TU 6 months later - as well as it not fitting very tight.
I tried this one just to see if it would work - Tridon / Novita for a 2004 Impala and it has worked like a champ. You will need to remove the button on yours and switch it to the new one. Plug and wiring is the same.
Typical complaint is that turn signals have stopped working. Or maybe, no brake lights.
Diagnosis would include cycling the hazard switch 20 times and see if the turn signals return to operating, at least for a short time.
If that is the issue there is an old post showing, AFTER removing the hazard switch cover, how to drill a small hole and inject circuit cleaner/ lubricant.
I did that exact procedure using Break Free CLP about eight years back, turn signals have been working ever since.
