I sold my Z06 last Fall for what I thought were all the right reasons and even though the reasons still seem right I miss the hell out of that car! I'm going crazy not cruising through this Forum and reading all the good ideas and knowledge that you folks have on these cars. Even though it's Winter here in New York I still would love to have another Vette out in my garage all ready for the first warm day of Spring! What a dope I am. I have to find a way to get another one - maybe take over a lease or something. The wife will be torqued, but she'll need to get over it.......
Sorry for my sad tale of woe - just needed to get it off my chest! :cry
I hear you, I woe because I have a vette in mygarage just sitting there, well actually two of them.
My main vette is a complete sleeper, and I may have to rid of it because NY suks for having performance cars in the winter months.....i.e. I'd rather own a Bimmer during these months and a Z or c5 during the summer....that would be perfect, but I just don't got the $$$.
Maybe if the stock market improves :yesnod:
buyer's market for SURE right now-there's a sweet '03 MYZ06 on the other forum some guy's trying to get someone to take over the lease on-$500/month pmts.
I sold my coupe for all the right reasons.....I thought. I was Vetteless for all of 6 weeks.........shows you how weak I am. Don't think I will go Vetteless again.......ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I've been without mine for 1-1/2 years now. It sucks at times, but I'm OK with it for now. I've found that although I do dream of another one, I'm more likely to pick up an M3 or something with a back seat when the Tahoe is paid off...and besides, I don't have to worry about who's parked next to my Tahoe, or if it's going to rain, or why my wife drove it without cleaning the soles of her shoes off!
Enough...enough...no regrets here, I actually enjoy having my wife, daughter, and dogs able to go somewhere with me without taking two cars.
