Default Cat Question

My OE cat material broke loose and was rattling around so I gutted both. I’ve thought of replacing both with aftermarket high-flow units. Is there a brand that works well enough to turn off the check engine light? We don’t have emissions testing here, but would like to be emission compliant if possible. Thx.

Any catalytic converter that fits should work. You may need to get a tune.

Random Technologies makes a high flow catalytic converter - never used them but have heard of them at least. Worth checking into.

Thx. He already had an X pipe so just need the cats. There are a lot of generic ones out there but want to go with something that actually works.
