Default Stainless Steel Lettering Inserts

Anyone have any experience with the stainless steel letter inserts from Extreme Motorsports? Do they stay in place or fall off? They advertise for $69.99 a set? Is that a good price? I haven't shopped much, but I've seen them for higher than that somewhere else.

Thanks in advance. :auto:

I got SS rear letters from West Coast and front letters from Corvette Central.

Rear on over a year and front more than six months. No problems so far in California weather.

I've had the rear SS letters since Corvettes at Carlisle, PA. The trick is to follow the indtallation instructions. I used the 3M prep liquid supplied and they are on like iron.

Easy way to explain this. You get what you pay for. I actually sourced this part for Mid America Desings. I seen poor quality that we could offer at $49 also seen medium quality for $69. We chose to sell the best quality SS letters out there on the market. That is why they are still $99. One thing to watch for is thickness of the metal. Another thing on the cheaper ones is that when they cut them out, they go to fast and the blade will make the metal to hot causeing it to turn purple. This takes away for the appearance. Hope this helps.

I found the chromed plastic better, lighter and easier to work with. I have had both.

Stainless steel letters are the way to go. Easy to install vs. vinyl letters and look great. Especially on RED!

My wife got both the fronts and rears SS letters from WWC for christmas. They were having a $55 special. I find the letters high quality and easy to put on, BUT be careful, the fronts have the "V" bent to fit the shape of the cover so don't try to straighten it out as I and a few others did. WCC just laughed and sent me another one free of charge.
