I have pull a valve cover today in order to change leaking gasket on my 03Z, I was assuming the valve springs color to be yellow they aren’t I’m confused since this car is stock
They went from Yellow to Blue and now are bare/grey steel. They could have been replaced at some point. From my reading the issue was with the Yellow springs specifically.

ok so the yellow are the weakest if I get you well
I sent a cheap amazon scope down the oil filler tube to find out if I had the yellow springs. Turns out I did.
Bought a Comp Cams spring kit, new valve seals, CHE Trunion Kit, new valve cover gaskets and bolts and all the tools to do it myself in my driveway. Watched a few videos on YouTube. It’s actually a very straightforward install. No issues at all and now I have some extra piece of mind that I ‘hopefully’ won’t drop a valve.
