C5 replacement shift Boot and the shift **** . .
Ok, so last month I had bought a custom shift boot for my 2003 50th Anniversary Convertible and i just wanted something easy peasy and different but close to OEM, so I picked out one from Redlinegoods.com, and I figured hey let's see about redoing the shift **** and I posted about it and the responders said if I found a shop to do the leather work on the shift **** Once I got it in the mail my self confidence started sinking so I looked for a shop who could do this and one night I remembered a shop who did some interior work on my last C5, they are Craft Customs in Rockwall, TX. 75032 PH: 214-564-1170 and so once I get some warmer weather, I'll go about pulling the console and the shift ****. They wern't sure if the shift **** kit I had purchased from Redlinegoods would work, so I say give it a try, if nothing else you can use the kit as a template for using you own leather, but Kathy said the would try, so here are the 2 parts
OEM
And the new pieces, Hope you can see them ok, my camera is kinda bright. . . .

I bought a new stable, and I'm going to have to open up the retainer/stable holds to put it back on.

Hay everyone, found the fix for the 2 stable holes, but does anyone have a picture of where the stable goes into the Automatic shift **** ? I now need to see how much extra work I need to do on the shift **** so it'll work and fit Ok with my 2003 Anniversary interior.
Thank you,
Thank you,

Yes, the stable looks like a super big stable you insert it to keep the **** on the shifter, I'm not sure if there is a small channel from the ends of each stable that allows it to disappear in to the **** itself ?

Staple-it's a clip but looks like a staple.
It does push in and fit flush to the front of the ****. Look up C5 automatic shifter **** on Youtube, there are quire a few video's that show it.
