Default 2003 Z06 hazard flasher

I have intermittent failure of my turn signals and see to cycle the hazard button(emergency flashers) to troubleshoot the switch or turn signal lever.
Am I crazy or does Z06 not have a hazard button/switch?
Thanks in advance.

Just install a hyperflash bypass harness and you wont have to worry about replacing the hazard switch. The bypass harness is very easy to install and will cost you around $45. Everything will still work as it should and you can install led lights also with the bypass harness. The hazard switch is a pita to replace and it will ultimately fail again, ask me how I know.

This quote makes me believe that by using the hyperflash bypass harness I can get my intermittent turnsignal problem corrected. Is that correct? Does the hyperflash harness make the turnsignals override the hazard switch. Is this really a full fix with the much easier installation?
Hyperflash harness arrives tomorrow and if it is the fix, I'll have two hazard switches for sale to any member. Bought the $18 switch off of Amazon and then elected to buy the Dorman(?) switch for $30. Both are clearly marked made in China.

I think they are all made in china now, including GM, Delco, SMP, and others.

Me, too. My problem was slow turn signal blinking, to the point it would stop blinking, at idle. Put in a hyperflash harness, and everything has functioned perfectly since.

Well the beat goes on! Early bird thought I'll go out and undo every thing so that when the Hyperflash harness comes I just plug it iall back together and everything will be aok. Get the bolster down and sitting there I say check if your small hands can reach the flasher switch. Dang it comes out easier than can be. Plug in One of the two switches that I bought and dang flashes work, turnsignals work and brake lights work. (now getting switch back is bad news so helpful hints wou;d but appreciated but I digress. I'm sitting there and we get the earliest Amazon truck ever. Everything is still apart so I say self plug the Hyperflash harness in as I have the impression that that is ok if ever I get around to doing LED taillights. Evidently a bad move ! ok flashers do not work, turnsignals work on only one of the switches (although extremely fast).
Hyperflash pigtail is removed and same situation as previous as now we have no brakelights. Help guys as this attempt at playing with my new toy is now no fun hoping it doesn't turn into a nightmare. summary new cheaper flasher is installed for working turnsignals but no flasher, and no brakelights. Hyperflash harnes is sitting there in the box. HELP PLEASE!

All I know is I plugged mine into my harness, following the instructions, and everything worked great since - for more than ten years, now. Did you make sure you connected it correctly, and that all the connectors are completely pushed together?
If everything was working with the new switch, you can always just go back to without the Hyperflash, and just change the switch again when this one fails. It sounds like you have it down pat.

Darn. It's almost as if firing the parts cannon without diagnosing the underlying cause of the issue somtimes results in wasted time and money.
Hope you get it sorted out.

Well Dad, turned to Corvette forum and it seemed like a well Diagnosed/easy fix. Firing parts cannon with all $60 parts returnable doesn't seem like a half _ _ _ _ _ problem to me. I also hope to get it sorted out. Sure am learning bunches about how this beast works!

For those who have been following my journey, what are your thoughts on the brake switch being a possible problem. Thank for all of the members helpful comments!
