recently bought a 2003vette z06 with 28k miles, put it up on a lift and i saw an rpm transmission? im not to familiar with them , is that a common swap?
I wouldn't say it is common but rpm does makes good stuff and is a popular choice for T56/4l60e Vette rebuilds or leveling up! If there are any numbers on the labels or such, call them and they could tell you what exactly you have (Level II,II etc.)
I live 5 minutes from RPM….. they definitely do quality work and are top in the game for built Transmissions….. this is definitely a positive for the car. A little research on RPM and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
One more vote for RPM Transmissions. I converted my C5 auto to a manual. I installed an RPM Stage II (MN12). I ran it hard on the track for 7 years and never had a hiccup. Good people, good products.
