Changing out interior question
Look at buying a C5 Z06. Has the red interior. Id like to swap over to black. Are these interior parts still available to buy? I’m not to concerned about the seats. Will swap those for caravaggios

You can get every interior piece swapped from donor cars on ebay. I swapped my original lt oak interior to black/shale from various ebay sellers and have been very pleased with the outcome.
As far as the seats go, don't bother with the megabuck Caravaggio seats, instead just grab a pair of c7 or c8 seats which work great with a c5.

if you want to buy a new set of carpets, you can get a complete set from front to back, damn near any color and pre-formed for your C5 for ~650 bucks from numerous vendors. Search C5 carpet kit and you'll get all kinds of options or buy used as JDM suggest. It is a bit of work as you have to remove the seats and some trim pieces.

Mod red interior is a very desirable option…… I wouldn’t change it myself but I’m positive you could find someone with black willing to swap all the parts and you could make a little money instead of spending a lot of money.

agree with JDM -- anything you need can be found on ebay, or even better go to your local junk yard. Ebay can be a little maddening because you'll have to be a patient as parts become avialble.
On the seats -- TOTALLY agree, get the c7 or c8 seats. I went with c7 seats. they're great. And they drop in with no problemn, AND you retain full motorized functionality on the seat. Can't beat them.
IF you want to go totally ludicrious, get everything wrapped in leather. Dash, consol, etc., it's well worth it but a bit pricy -- click the link in my sig if you want to see what I did. I won't over burden your thread with pics, I did a full custon black leather/red stiched interior, and hadcustom leather/stiching on a set of c7 seats.
