I put Hawk Street pads on plus Goodridge stainless steel lines and higher boiling temp fluid. Have not gone to the track yet with the new brake lines so I cannot comment on the performance improvement.

I spent a few hours at Texas Motor Speedway during the heat of last summer. I pushed the car very hard, and experienced minimal brake fade during hard braking with the stock brakes. They came back nicely after slowing down a little for a half-full lap.
Unless you're going to be a serious tracker, you're fine with the stock setup. You'll only need to replace the pads after each session, and flush your fluid.
